In our case we had been coming to Noosa for many years from Sydney and for the past 15 years from Brisbane. Sea change in our case was triggered two and a half years ago by our teenage sons leaving home. Until that time we were tied to schools and our sons’ network of friends. For us it happened suddenly with both boys leaving home within two months. In an instant Jen and I were alone in a four bedroom house enjoying the freedom that comes when 80% of the washing, ironing and food preparation disappears.
So we began our quest for sea change and set about working out just how and when we could move to Noosa. So much to do, sell house, rent house, find jobs, organise move, pack house, move house, start new jobs! A daunting task….if only there was somewhere or perhaps a person who has done this to help………. |
Welcome! This site was created to try and help at least some of the thousands of people who aspire to living in the Noosa area. We have lost count of the number of happy holiday makers that we have met who come to Noosa year after year, eventually buying property with a view to a future sea change.
