The aims of the Noosa Yacht and Rowing Club are:- "Promote the sports of sailing and rowing for community members of all ages, abilities and backgrounds. Provide an opportunity for youth in the area to develop interests and skills in rowing and sailing Provide a circumstance for youth in the area whereby experienced club members can act as mentors and role models in the sports as well as in personal development Provide an opportunity for community members and visitors to readily access and enjoy the unique beauty of the Noosa River in pleasant dining circumstances Provide a range of additional social opportunities for community members of diverse backgrounds, ages and abilities to interact and develop satisfying social connections."
